Equality & accessibility

It is important for us to make sure that the events of the festival are as accessible as possible for everyone, regardless of background or different special needs. If you have any questions about the accessibility of any festival event or suggestions for improvement, we welcome them.

The contact person responsible for accessibility is Johannes Rantanen, the Festival Director, and he can be reached by e-mail at or by phone at +358 458 742 345 (weekdays from 10 am to 3 pm). We purposefully and systematically develop the various aspects of the accessibility of our festival, and your feedback on the shortcomings in the accessibility of the festival that you have noticed is valuable to us.

Equality is one of the values ??of our festival, and we do our best to ensure that each of our festival guests can enjoy our concert experiences equally. This is reflected, among other things, that the festival also offers a completely free program every year.

Students, pensioners, conscripts, the unemployed and those under 18 are eligible for the discount ticket. Admission to the concert is free of charge for a personal assistant. The personal assistant should be able to assist the assisted when needed. The need for an assistant does not need to be proven separately for the festival.

Our website and social media channels communicate in both Finnish and English.
The festival's program is published in both Finnish and English.

Our festival spreads to diverse concert venues in Sastamla and its surroundings. There are differences in the accessibility of concert venues. Some of the concert venues are historic sites, such as churches and manor houses, which may have uneven terrain in their yards and stairs and thresholds indoors. In some concert venues, accessibility has been taken into account more thoroughly and they meet the modern requirements. You can find accessibility information for each concert venue on the Concert Venues page.

Website availability status
The website partially meets the accessibility requirements.
Unreachable content that is not achievable due to on the basis of an unreasonable burden
Videos released before 2020 are missing subtitles. There is not always descriptive interpretation / descriptive text for images. An accessibility tool is being introduced for the site, which will make it possible to increase high contrast or text, for example.
